I live in a beautiful part of Australia, the Hawkesbury River Region on the North West of Sydney.
I grew up here, in such a precious unspoiled part of the world. Living on 3 acres in a rural citrus growing area, we were free to spend every afternoon in the bush behind our farm, catching frogs and yabbies from the creek, making billycarts, climbing to the tops of giant willow trees. I loved my childhood, at least the parts outside of school hours!
I rode horses from the age of 8, and fell totally in love with them when my first pony came to live with us, Patches, the fiery pinto. She taught me the meaning of tenacity, patience, love, and facing my disappointments. Her beautiful red chestnut coat flashed with snow white, inspired my imagination. Riding horses gave me the freedom to explore trails, fire trails, roads and backroads in our area. Time to think, to feel the rhythm of the horse beneath me, to free the energy from my extremely sensitive Piscean mind.
My passion is art, painting, drawing, sculpting. Horses, Australian native bushland and animals, waterlife, these are amongst my favourite subjects in my art. I have been creating art in many forms professionally since 1995. I particularly love painting in Miniature. As a balance, my ocean paintings are large and airy!
